Meet Nicole Sterwart,
Chiropractic Assistant
Nicole brings an athlete’s energy and a real love of movement to her role as a chiropractic assistant at Mustard Seed Chiropractic. Staying active has always been a big part of her life, and she enjoys being part of a team that helps patients work toward feeling and functioning their best.
From Gymnast to Chiropractic Assistant
Movement has been part of Nicole’s life since childhood. She trained in rhythmic gymnastics from age 5 to 14, and it was as an athlete that she first discovered chiropractic care. She found that care helped her feel better and perform at her best, and the experience stayed with her.
Her love of staying active also shaped her education. Nicole earned a degree in exercise science after reading that the field could be a great fit for someone who loves sports and being on the move. “I said, why not? That’s exactly me.” It turned out to be the right fit and eventually led her into the chiropractic setting.
Why She Loves What She Does
For Nicole, one of the most rewarding parts of her job is getting to be part of each patient’s journey. She sees people come into the office after dealing with pain for a long time and enjoys watching the changes that may happen as they move through the care plans created by the doctors.
From one re-exam to the next, she may notice a brighter attitude, changes in range of motion or patients getting back to activities they’d previously put aside.
They feel alive again. Being part of that is just awesome.”
In Her Spare Time
Nicole recently became a runner and loves hitting the trails, spending time outdoors and being in nature. Most weekends, she’s traveling and spending time with her family. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll usually find her watching an action series, especially FBI-style shows.
